Public Transport to and from Ljubljana Airport (LJU), Slovenia
On the tarmac at Ljubljana Airport
Aerodrom Joze Pucnik is situated near Brnik, a 15 miles drive by car north of Ljubljana.
Taxi Available in front of terminal building, fare into town costs around 40 Euros.
Bus The Airport Shuttle bus runs hourly to Ljubljana bus and train station, every 2 hours at weekends. The airport also has good bus connections to Kranj, 7 miles away.
Train Train travel is relatively cheap in Slovenia. The train station at Zelezniska Postaja is 15 minutes walk north of Ljubljana Old Town. Trains run to many national (Maribor, Ptuj, Koper, Postojna, Divaca, Jecenice) and international destinations (Graz, Trieste, Zagreb, Vienna, Venice, Budapest and others).
