    On the apron at Munich airportMunich International Airport (Franz Josef Strauss) is 25 miles distance northeast of the city centre, just off the Autobahn A92 München - Deggendorf.
    Taxi Trip takes 45 minutes into the city centre, cost from £40 - £47.
    Bus Airport buses and coaches run to the city, to the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) and to surrounding regions, incl. Ingolstadt, Augsburg, Erding, Freising, Pfaffenhofen. A cheap Lufthansa Airport Bus travels every 20 mins. between the Hauptbahnhof and both airport terminals. Shuttle buses also go to München Messe, the trade fair and exhibition centre.
    Train The S-Bahn railway station is located directly below Munich Airport's central terminal building, S1 and S8 trains run every 10 minutes to the city centre. For around 10 Euros you can buy a day ticket which is valid on all trains, buses and trams.
