Munich International Airport (Franz Josef Strauss) is 25 miles northeast of the city centre, just off the Autobahn A92 Munchen - Deggendorf.
Taxi	45 minutes into Munich centre, from £40 - £47.
Bus	Airport buses and coaches run to Munich, to the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) and to surrounding regions, incl. Ingolstadt, Augsburg, Erding, Freising, Pfaffenhofen. A cheap Lufthansa Airport Bus travels every 20 mins. between the Hauptbahnhof and both airport terminals. Shuttle buses also go to München Messe, the trade fair and exhibition centre.
Train	The S-Bahn railway station is located directly below Munich Airport's central terminal building, S1 and S8 trains run every 10 minutes to the city centre. For around 9 Euros you can buy a day ticket which is valid on all trains, buses and trams.
