    Porto airport international arrivals and departures terminalFrancisco Sá Carneiro Airport is about 8 miles north of downtown, not far from the IC 1 and IC 24 main roads.
    Taxis Fares should cost about £12 - £17 to town, a taxi receipt is compulsory.
    Bus Bus lines 601, 602 and 604 run to Porto city centre. Transportes Autna runs a bus several times a day to Vigo in Spain.
    Porto is built on steep slopes and driving or walking can be difficult. The town has an excellent, efficient and cheap STCP bus network, a tram route and a small, simple to use new metro system.
    Trains An underground link serves the the airport and connects to Dragão Station and the entire Metro network. Porto's main train station is Estação Campanhã, (used for Portugese and international destinations).
    The centrally located Estação São Bento handles suburban and regional trains. Frequent trains run between the two stations. From Campanhã railway station in Porto, Inter-regional trains travel south via many stops (including Espinho, Aveiro, Coimbra, Fatima, Santarem, Vila Franca de Xira), to Lisboa Santa Apolonia station in Lisbon.

    • Igreja da Sé - The attractive cathedral has a varied mixture of architectural styles.
    • Igreja de São Francisco - Gothic church with an astonischingly rich rococo interior.
    • Taylor's - One of the best known Port wine lodges in Porto was founded in 1692 by an English family.
    • Palácio da Bolsa - Glass-domed building with a heavily gilded Moorish-style ballroom.
