Getting to/from Salzburg Airport SZG
Easyjet at the  beautifully located Salzburg AirportSalzburg Flughafen (W.A. Mozart) lies just a few miles west from the city centre, close to the A1 motorway.
Taxi Journey takes about 15 minutes into town, fares cost around 15 Euros.
Bus Bus nos. 2 and 8 run every 10-20 minutes to downtown and the central train station in about 20 minutes, tickets available from the driver or in the terminal. Airline Jet2 operates shared minibuses and taxis from airport to major ski resorts in the Tyrol, including Ellmau, Hopfgarten, Kitzbuhel and Sol.
Train The nearest main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) is 20 minutes away by bus, located at Südtirolerplatz on the banks of the river Salzach, 20 minutes walk from old city. This station is an important European railway hub, connecting Salzburg with many major cities in Europe and to the Austrian ski resorts.
