Cheap Flights to Seoul South Korea from £415

London Gatwick now has three non stop morning flights to South Korea from London with Korean Air each week, this is in addition to their daily flights from London Heathrow. We have found some really competitive prices with Korean Air and Asiana Airlines on their direct flights from Heathrow. These are the only two airlines with non stop flights from any UK airport. We also compare flights from Cathay Pacific via Hong Kong and Chinese airlines flying out of London via Shanghai. Transport from Seoul Airport (ICN), South Korea
Korean Air Flight at Seoul from London Heathrow Most major international airlines fly into Incheon International Airport which is built on reclaimed tidal flats about 32 miles west of Seoul. This airport can only be accessed via the Incheon International Expressway and a toll suspension bridge. Gimpo (Kimpo) airport 11 miles northwest is used for domestic flights.
Taxi Various sizes of taxi can be hired at the airport. Tipping is not customary in Korea.
Bus Many limousine buses or regular inter-city buses run to points all over the city, incl. World Trade Centre, Korea City Air Terminal (KCAT), City Hall & major hotels, Gimpo Airport. Journey time to city 60-90 minutes, tickets can be purchased in Arrivals. Buses and destinations are well signposted in Korean and English. Seoul also has a good and cheap city bus network.
Train From the airport railway station, AREX trains run via Gimpo Airport (access to underground) to the city centre station, the express takes less than 25 minutes.
The city's underground is excellent, clean, safe and cheap. South Korea has an extensive rail network, most train routes to other destinations depart from Seoul railway station. Trains are often full, buy tickets in advance.
Ferry Ferries sail between Incheon Airport and Incheon City.
Car There are motorways from Seoul to the east coast, Daegu and Busan. Road signs can be difficult to follow or absent, reckless driving and congestion are also major problems.

  • War Memorial Museum - The history of war in Korea, aircraft, military displays.
  • National Folk Museum of Korea - Korean history and customs, located in the grounds of Kyongbuk Palace.
  • Yeouido Island - Korea's tallest building stands in this Manhatton-like business area.
  • Chongno Tower - Striking and unusually-shaped office tower.
  • Taekwondo Memorial Hall - Celebrates Korea's national martial art.
  • Seoul World Cup Stadium - Situated in Mapo-gu, west of the city.
  • Bukhansan National Park - Rugged mountain scenery and excellent hiking.
